Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation To Increase Organics, Silicones Prices 5-25%

Effective March 15, 2011, Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation’s Industrial Specialties and Household Care business lines will increase list and off list prices for products marketed in North America.

Silicone surfactants and specialty silicone additives will increase 5 to 18% depending on the product. Organic products including quaternary compounds, surfactants, amine derivatives and specialty organic additives will increase up to 25% depending on the product.

Ongoing pressures from raw material, energy, regulatory, and transportation costs, strong market demand, and investment to maintain our product and service quality are the major reasons for the increases.
