Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation To Increase Organics, Silicones Prices

Effective June 15, 2012, or as contracts allow, Evonik Goldschmidt Corporation’s Household Care business lines will increase prices for products marketed in North America.

Depending on the product, prices for quaternary compounds will increase $0.06/kg, amines $0.07/kg, amine derivatives $0.10/kg and specialty organo modified silicones $0.60/kg. Select products will be subject to higher increases.

Rising raw materials and transportation costs are the major reasons for the increase.
